Update 20.10.2022
The ICAR Congress, General Assembly and Assembly of Delegates took place from the 12-15 October 2022 in the beautiful region of Montreux in Switzerland.
The Congress was preceeded by the 7th International Hypothermia Day in Lausanne. Prof. Beat Walpoth, Dr Mathieu Pasquier and Dr Evelien Cools organised an extraordinary meeting which was frequented by many international experts on hypothermia and avalanche medicine.
Presented at the International Hypothermia Day and finalised at the ICAR Congress were updates on the Avalanche Algorithms which will be published here in due course.
Both live events were a true success and a lot of work was carried out and planned for the months to come.
We thank all delegates for their tremendous contributions and are looking forward to the next meeting.
